The article is devoted to the analysis of the relationship between the social status and the value motivation in processes of management and innovation in the Russian society. The author demonstrates that the perfection of a social image and success of the manager’s profession is a necessary condition for the management activities of any manager leading to the increase of the innovative potential of the organization. Considering the problem of a social success of middle managers the author provides a graphic model of the correlation between the social status of a manager and the innovative potential of a company.
