Social-structural characteristics of the population in the Jewish autonomous region

The article reflects basic socio-structural characteristics of the population in the Jewish autonomous region, differentiated according to their socio-occupational status and prestige, wealth and social levels, an access to socio-cultural sphere, housing conditions. It is provided a description of the factors influencing social tension, emigration and the population mobility in the area.
