The article is devoted to the problem of social well-being, which is topical for pedagogical education and pedagogical science. The appeal to the problem of social well-being as a marker for the satisfaction and success of the life of modern man is explained by the need to study the human adaptive mechanisms in the conditions of global systemic changes. The changes that occur in all spheres of the life activity of human society have a significant effect on changes in the person's ideas about the eternally existing categories-understanding the meaning of his life and the requirements for the quality of life.
