Social dependence in large families of the Republic of Buryatia as a result of adverse conditions of development

The article deals with the social and economic situation of large families and their dependence moods. A typology depending on the conditions and circumstances of children’s birth is provided: the conscious aspiration for having many children in families with strong family and religious and national traditions; the birth of a child in common in the remarriage when having the other children; disadvantaged large families of parents adhering asocial way of life, where children are often a means for getting material and financial aid. The forms and methods of providing social aid to families with many children, their legal basis and efficiency both at federal and regional level (Republic of Buryatia) are studied. The efficiency of activities is assessed and the conclusions are drawn that the current system of social support is ineffective in preventing dependence in large families.
