The process of social partnership at the industrial enterprises of the Republic of Mordovia (OJSC "Orbita", OJSC "Zavod "Saranskkabel") is analysed in the article. On the basis of the results of sociological research main problems of social partnership are determined, mechanisms for its optimisation are offered.
