Various areas of society in the modern world are constantly developing, the field of education is no exception. Against the background of radical transformations related to the new needs of the state and society, conditions and requirements dictated by new Federal State Educational Standards have appeared in order to increase the level of education of graduates. And educational institutions, acting within these requirements, strive to find ways that are most suitable for the development of a professional institution, bringing it to a new level of competitiveness. One of these ways is social partnership. The article is devoted to the study of social partnership in the field of education. The author reveals the essence and role of social partnership in professional educational institutions. Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the subjects of social partnership in vocational education were identified. These include authorities in the field of education, labor and employment, citizens (students and their parents, employees of an educational institution), the vocational education system and the labor market. To build a social partnership, its participants need to go through several stages. The author reveals three mandatory stages for the successful organization of social partnership. The article also highlights in detail all potential social partners of professional educational institutions and reveals their key roles in this process.
