The article analyses the results of a poll of social well-being of the rural population of the Republic of Khakassia, which was held by the Khakassian Research Institute of Language, Literature and History in 2011. The research of the social well-being has been carried out according to the following indicators: orientations and expectations of the population, assessment of the socio-economic situation, satisfaction with different conditions of life.
