The authors note that the patriotic education of young people develops in various forms, performing social functions. Sports are becoming the norm. A new format of sports competitions for schoolchildren and students is presented. EURASIADA is a new multi - sport competition format and a unique international sporting event. The first Eurasian Games in national and non - Olympic sports will become a new format for communication between the peoples of the countries of Eurasia. Thanks to the introduction of new formats of sports events in secondary schools and universities, ethnic sports and an important social area - ethnopedagogics of sports will be promoted.
