Social aspects of satisfying the information needs of millennials: structure and manifestations

The article examines the main social aspects of satisfying the information needs of a special group of people, such as millennials. The structure of millennials' information needs is revealed in detail through such elements as communication, a person's desire for a holistic and high-quality life, and unique forms of personal and social reality. The considered information need of millennials is compared with the need forms of other social groups. The presence of this generation in social networks, associated with their neuro-social characteristics, demonstrates the influence of information and communication technologies, online games and platforms on the social dynamics of young people. The attitude of users to the mechanics of virtual reality, developed in the life process, formed by a social group and the actual preferences of individuals explain their need characteristics. Studying the information needs of this social group, which prefers to receive information in digital format and usе mobile devices, makes it possible to find new forms of interaction at all levels of social space.
