The article is dedicated to social initiatives provided by Ladies Committee of Alexander and St. George Community of Russian Red Cross Society in the city-resort Pyatigorsk concerning support and care for sick and wounded soldiers of World War I (1914-1917), hospitals foundation and their material and technical equipment supply, vocational rehabilitation for disabled people.
