Social rights and the basic law of Germany

Бесплатный доступ

Modern Germany, despite the title of one of the stable social states, in the Basic Law practically does not mention social human rights and guarantees in this area. This paradox is very interesting, because, having no fundamental provisions, the state has been managing with social function for a long time and quite successfully. In 2019, however, there were renewed calls for a change in the Constitution, enshrining these provisions along with other human rights and their safeguards.
