Social problems of student youth are a pressing topic for many regions of the Russian Federation. Students are an active part of the population, which in the future will determine the socio-economic development of the region. Therefore, it is important to understand exactly what problems students face in order to develop effective measures to solve them. The problems of students in the Russian Federation are multifactorial in nature. Economic factors include low-income levels and high costs of living. Social factors relate to insufficient social support and infrastructure. Psychological aspects include the stress of transitioning to independent living and responsibility for one's future. Social problems of student youth in the Russian Federation require an integrated approach to solution. Among the main social problems of Russian students, the following can be identified: access to education, housing, professional employment, psychological well-being.
