Social Networks as a Means of Destabilizing Family Relations in Modern Conditions

The article examines the impact on family life of the widespread use of digital technologies characteristic of modern society. and, first of all, social media. The author investigates factors related to the frequency and purposes of using social networks and their impact on key characteristics of family life. In particular, the paper examines how social media activity affects the level of satisfaction with family life, the frequency of conflicts, the quality of communication between partners and the degree of trust between them. The respondents were representatives of different age groups, as well as families with different numbers of children. This approach made it possible to identify key patterns and formulate practical recommendations for strengthening family ties in the context of the growing digitalization of society. The main conclusion of the study is the need to find a balance between virtual and real life in order to maintain harmonious relationships within the family. At the same time, the intelligent and purposeful use of social media can help strengthen the family, if it does not replace live communication.
