Social networks: application context in average level sociology

The article considers condition of the modern social network theory and potentials of its application to the analysis of social communities, groups, organizations, population categories, specifically low-income citizens. The author registers tendencies of the basic directions of network researches in national sociology, and demonstrates that available groundwork of the social network theory and methodology may be effectively employed in average level sociology.
