Two aspects of the student attitude formation to studying at the university - basic and socio-situational are singled out in the article. The basic aspect reflects the understanding of the education meaning expressed in the student youth value perceptions. Socio-situational aspect involves changing the student basic characteristics under the influence of economic, political, social and other factors.
