Sociocultural adjustment of the Russian-speaking repatriates who returned from Russia to the Republic of Korea (1998–2011)

In the end of XX – the beginning of XXI century many Korean repatriates from the Sakhalin Island returned to the Republic of Korea for a permanent residence. This paper explores the issue of preservation of cultural identity of the Russian-speaking Koreans who moved to the Republic of Korea. The author determines the factors that help to promote the identity of the Korean repatriates in the host society and those that impede it.
