Socio-cultural security is a crucial aspect of national stability and development. In the era of globalisation, changing geopolitical landscapes and escalating international conflicts, the socio-cultural dimension of security is becoming increasingly important. This article examines the relationship between socio-cultural factors and national security with a special focus on the countries of Central Asia and Kyrgyzstan. As multicultural societies with a rich historical heritage, the Central Asian states face unique challenges in maintaining sociocultural stability. The study examines the main threats, policy considerations and strategies for enhancing sociocultural security in the contemporary context.
