Sociocultural development of territories in the context of national security

The article reviews potential threats to Russia’s national security caused by the heterogeneity of sociocultural development of its territories. The study presents differentiation according to some parameters within federal districts of the Russian Federation. The author defines the obstacles hindering creation of the consolidated cultural space.
