Socio-cultural aspects of couneractions against extremism among the young people

Modern civilization has advanced far forward youth. However, the new, to which the younger generation so aspires, does not always possess the quality of positivity and progressiveness. The younger generation, voluntarily or involuntarily, becomes a mass participant and the main carrier of the negative and dangerous creatures of modern civilization - AIDS infection, alcohol and drug use, participation in criminal activities. Today, young people are also joining the dangerous ranks of extremism and terrorism1. The tendency to extremism of the modern Pepsi generation in Russia is beyond doubt and should be the subject of close attention of scientists, politicians, journalists and public figures. It is impossible to give the modern youth to the mercy of the unfolding market, labor insecurity, organized crime, popular culture and show business, the uncontrolled work of the media. It is high time for a meaningful and substantive implementation of a targeted youth policy.
