The article is concerned with sociocultural context of the study dealing with the acmeology of professional activity carrying out by the internal affairs bodies' personnel. The author substantiates a thesis that the high expertise of the internal affairs bodies' employee includes not only outstanding development of one's abilities, but also deep knowledge of the occupational field, original implementation of skills required for the successful vocational activities.
