Socialect as a method of a linguistic situation of a region description

The article shows method of research of citizens' everyday speech in the aspect of social dialectology. We offer to use the term «sociolect» (i.e. an «average individual» speech) for describing the linguistic situation. By means of stratification model building we show how the people from the Chusovoy town and the Perm city know and use localisms. The difference in the dwellers knowledge and use is presented too.
