The article is devoted to the study of the sociological aspects of management in the field of tourism. Management problems in relation to tourism are considered from the point of view of the subject of two sciences: sociology of management and sociology of tourism. The applied nature of the sociology of management is revealed by the example of management in the tourism sector. The vision of the structure of the sociology of tourism as a science in general is presented. The main managerial problems in the sociology of tourism are revealed. The features of the real managerial impact on social processes in the tourism industry are investigated. The importance of sociological management research on the material of tourism is shown.
