The paper presents the results of the social studies dealing with the ecological culture of junior higher school students majoring in humanities. Based on the analysis of the data obtained it is concluded that this problem is covered insufficiently. The author believes it is necessary to introduce deep corrections in the system of ecocultural education of students.
