The studies were carried out on the experimental field of Omsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin, on meadow chernozem low-power medium-humus heavy loamy soil in the period from 2000 to 2003. The objects of research were table beet (Bordeaux variety 237), carrots (Shantene variety 2461), and soil, microelements (zinc, nickel, and cadmium). Particularly important in the study is the development at the regional level of simple and sufficiently reliable prognostic models of the behavior of trace elements in soil-plant objects with the aim of predicting scientifically based normalization of application as fertilizer and preventing their negative effects in the system. Optimal doses of zinc, nickel, cadmium for table beet and carrots are established on the meadow-chernozem soil of Omsk Irtysh region under the appropriate content of elements in the soil and on the basis of this, formulas are developed for calculating the doses of these trace elements for the studied vegetable crops...
