The article presents data on the content of trace elements manganese, zinc, copper, cobalt, iron, boron in plants grown on сhernozem and solonetz soils of the steppe and forest-steppe landscapes under Omsk region conditions. Vegetation of the natural herbage, represented mainly by plants of the family of grasses ( Poaceae ) in the flowering period and ear formation, is characterized by an average content of manganese, iron, zinc, medium and high levels of boron. There have been cases of copper, zinc, cobalt deficiency in plants. Grown on solonetz and saline soils with a high content of mobile boron, plants of different families have a higher level of element content (a 1,2-3,0 times excess of its concentration) compared on ones grown on сhernozem soils. In solonetz soils there is a peculiar geochemical regime was observed in which the food chain through the vegetation receives higher amounts of boron and it may lead to imbalance of minerals due to the abundance of molybdenum and copper deficiency. There where values of the coefficients of biological absorption (KBA) trace elements calculated, their involvement in the biogenic migration evaluated. Under landscape conditions of forest-steppe and steppe areas of Omsk region the highest degree of biological absorption are characterized by molybdenum (KBA = 10,4-86,2), zinc (1,1-36,7), copper (1,0-23,9). Boron is most actively absorbed by the plants of the Dicotyledonous Class (KBA = 10,1-12,2) comparing to plants of the Family of Bluegrass (0,1-3,2). Manganese is an element of the weak biological absorption and average takeover (KBA = 0,6-2,3). Iron and cobalt have the lowest intensity of biological absorption (KBA = 0,1-1,2).
