The maintenance of photosynthesis pigments in leaves of European white birch (Betula pendula Roth) and English oak (Quercus robur L.) in the conditions of Ufa industrial center

Data on the maintenance of photosynthesis pigments in leaves of European white birch and English oak in the conditions of Ufa industrial center during the vegetative period are provided. It is shown that the maintenance of pigments (chlorophyll a, a chlorophyll b and carotinoids) in birch leaves in the pollution conditions in general is higher in comparison with control. The maintenance of pigments in oak leaves practically doesn't change depending on pollution.
