The article is devoted to consideration of the content of the training of managers in quality of education. This training is given by the Institute of Education Development. That subject is addressed in the training for education managers. The key determinant of the selection of the content of training is the new understanding of the quality of education. The quality of education is viewed as a complex multidimensional phenomenon. Emphasis is placed on the humanitarian understanding of the quality of education. Attention is paid to the tools for assessing the quality of education, which make it possible to identify the level of formation of a person's ability to self-development. The content of the training is proposed to be implemented in three modules. The first module will be focused on strengthening the regular and sustained training on theory and methodology for assessing the quality of education. The second module explained how the general scientific, economic and pedagogical approaches to assessing the quality of education are applied. The third module consists of a training material aimed at creating knowledge about of the modern tools and forms for assessing the quality of education
