Coordination of interests of government and business: stakeholder approach

The relevance of the study is due to the lack of elaboration of theoretical aspects of the interaction between government and business, ensuring a balanced economic, social and environmental development of society. The problem of relations between government, business and society in modern conditions requires rethinking and the formation of an effective and multi-level (including regional) mechanism of their interaction. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the feasibility of using the stakeholder approach as a basis for harmonizing the range of interests of government and business in the process of regional development. Among the priorities of the stakeholder approach is to strengthen long-term relationships with interested groups, focus on corporate social responsibility and the problems of society. The research is a continuation of the author’s series of articles devoted to the issues of stakeholder management model, which is the basis of the modern mechanism of social relations between government and business. The materials of the article are of practical value for the development of regional management strategy focused on sustainable socio-economic development.
