Preservation and popularization of cultural heritage as a direction of the activities of Crimean museums

The article is devoted to the study of the role of museums in the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of the Crimea. The main directions of museum activity are examined - the study, preservation, appropriate use, popularization, etc. objects of cultural heritage, their feature on the example of cultural monuments of the Crimea. Particular attention is paid to the museumification of cultural heritage objects.
