Preservation of historical and cultural heritage of the Khakassia Republic

Historical and cultural heritage of the Khakassia Republic is rich and diverse. Several tens of thousands of archaeological sites are its foundation. Burial mounds, rock art sites, the remains of ancient settlements, form anthropogenic landscapes, occupying almost the whole steppe part Khakass-Minusinsk basin. Protect the unique cultural foundation Khakassia department-inspection by the Division for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, a business unit of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic. The most important factor in the preservation of both individual sites and entire historical and cultural complexes, is the presence of a network of Khakassia archaeological museums. The problems with protection of the cultural heritage could be also overcome by organizing the federal service of the protection and studying of the archaeological heritage and on the way of improvement of federal and regional laws in Russian Federation. The region acts republican target program aimed at creating the best conditions of safety and use of cultural heritage. Further development of the case of protection of objects of history and culture of Khakassia linked to the strengthening of the regional framework, empowerment structure, functioning as the conservation, management, promotion and state protection of cultural heritage and the development of strategies in the field of museums.
