Retention of the magic and magic rituals in the family ceremonial rites of Chechens in the pre-revolutionary period

The article deals with the magic and the magic rituals of Chechens remaining in the family ceremonial rites in the late 19 th - early 20 th century. The author describes the significance of the fertility god for the Chechen and Ingushetia people from the earliest times. Basing on the field ethnographic materials the research observes the healing magic connected with the family ceremonial rites.
