Contractility of foot dorsal flexors in diseases and injuries of the leg

The analysis is shown concerning the dependence of the contractility change in the anterior group of the leg muscles on their length change for the change of the ankle angle setting, for slowing and acceleration of limb natural growth, after its surgical lengthening. It is demonstrated, that the absence of muscular force gain after lengthening is caused not so much by the leg damage during distraction as by reach the limit of the reserves of the involved limb development.
