Correlation of unity and differentiation in the context of equality ensuring in Russian labour law is considered at present paper. The unity of labour law was found to reflect formal equality, while differentiation facilitates real inequality of the people (according to sex, age, education etc.) to be taking into account. The changes of the Labour Code of Russian Federation, concerning the basic principles of unity and differentiation, have been studied.
