The interrelation of legal force of the constitution and international treaties in the legal system of the Russian Federation

In this article, the author examines the issue of conflict norms of international agreements and the Constitution in the legal system of the Russian Federation. The author analyzes and interprets critical positions scholars constitutionalists supporters and opponents of the priority of the Constitution over all other normative acts of the state, and examines the legal position with respect to this issue of the constitutional organs of the various states. Also in this article to solve the problem discussed various domestic and international regulations. At the end of the work, examining all the arguments and citing its author concludes that the priority of the Constitution of the Russian Federation on the international agreements due to its special legal features, and also because of the State’s obligation to respect and enforce the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, enshrined in the Constitution, which is a priority, compared with the obligation to execute international treaties.
