Correlation between the categories of social and institutional trust: theoretical approaches and the problem of empirical study

The article deals with peculiar correlation between the two main types of trust - interpersonal (social) and institutional from the perspective of some Russian and foreign researchers. Analyzing the empirical studies results, the author makes conclusions about the dynamics of political trust in the country, its conjunctural and economic dependence.
