Correlation of the linguistic identity models in Russian and Chinese cultures

The article is an attempt to analyze the most topical problems in the aspect of multicultural communication - it is communication of the representatives of different culture and language groups, namely, persons of the Chinese and Russian cultures. In order to solve the given problem the author suggests to examine the mechanism of the verbal and cogitative activity of the native speakers in every culture paying attention to two communication modes: the external one -communicative and pragmatic space and the internal one - reflective and discourse dimension. The article describes distinctive characteristics of a Chinese culture representative in comparison with a Russian communication partner. Comparing proverbs and sayings of two different languages the author considers the conditions of a successful intercultural communication between Chinese and Russian linguistic identity.
