The relationship between the concepts of the “mechanism of investigation” and "investigator’s activity in the investigation of crimes"

Introduction: The article explores the problems of identifying the concepts of "crime investigation mechanism" and "crime investigation investigator activities," which in scientific discussion and perception of the results of scientific research can lead to a different understanding of the theses put forward by the author. Materials and methods: the basis of the study was the materials of research results in the field of forensic investigation methodology on various topics in the field of forensic scientific knowledge. The methodological basis of the study is the general dialectical method of scientific knowledge, which is universal in nature, as well as methods of generalization and description, methods of observation, comparison and systemic analysis. The Results of the study: the conclusions and theses put forward by the authors as a result of the analysis may call readers to a constructive discussion on the essence of the formulated theses and author's conclusions, which, according to the principles of dialectical development, should contribute to the unification of scientific and forensic knowledge, which is traditionally the basis for the effective development of scientific thought. Findings and Conclusions: contain prerequisites for distinguishing between the concepts considered by the authors, and give the authors reason to express their belief that the goal has been achieved when writing.
