The Legal Categories’ Ratio “Judicial Acts Legality” and “Legal Force of Court Rulings”

Understanding the essence and meaning of the legal categories such as “legality” and “legal force” of court rulings is important because it is necessary to find the key features of the court ruling process within the framework of the domes-tic legal system developing. Purpose: to analyse the definition and legal meaning of such concepts as ‘judicial acts legality’ and ‘legal force of court rulings’, as well as the consideration of their broader context as constituent elements of the court rul-ing process. Methods: empirical methods of comparison, description, interpretation; theoretical methods of formal and dialectical logic; private-scientific methods; legal-dogmatic method and interpretation of norms. Results: the research allowed us to identify the ambiguous relationship between the legality and legal force of court rul-ings, to determine their procedural legal meaning, to compare them, and to find out the relationship of legality with some principles of civil procedure law and also to define the process of a court ruling entry into legal force as a procedural term de-noting the consequences of a particular court ruling.
