Comparative analysis of Russian and English fire science terminology in the light of field theory

Russian and English fire science terminology is analyzed in the aspect of the field modeling. The semantics of terms is studied within each language and on the interlinguistic basis. The main objective of this analysis is to reveal special features of the studied terminology and suggest ways to resolve problems with coordination and harmonization of the terminology.
