Accompanied residence of persons with mental disabilities

The article is devoted to the problem of introduction of technologies of accompanied residence of people with mental disabilities. The necessary condition for accompanied residence is the preparatory and educational stage, as well as employment and day employment. Effective implementation of accompanied residence technologies requires solving the following problems: development of regional legal and regulatory acts; Development of social infrastructure for living, working and day employment; Finding sources of funding for logistics activities; Development of criteria for assessing the needs of a disabled person in some form of accompanied residence; training of qualified specialists; Overcoming barriers related to the lack of preparedness of persons with disabilities themselves and society as a whole
