We conducted a clinical examination of pregnant women and women in labor living in two different climatic regions of Osh city and in the highlands of the Chon-Alai district of the Osh region. The main causes of complications during pregnancy, childbirth and the early postpartum period are such extreme factors as hypoxia and bleeding, as well as concomitant diseases of pregnant women. Bleeding associated with obstetric pathology, leading to fatal pregnancy outcomes, is 26%, 30-35%. Fetal hypoxia and asphyxia of the newborn occur in 12-15% of cases, comorbidities in 7-10% of cases. In the case of pregnancy in high altitude conditions, hypoxia associated with the pathology of pregnancy may be exacerbated by external hypobaric hypoxia.
