Proportionality as a criterion of the principle of justice in the civil law

The article attempts to resolve an issue of the criteria for application of the principle of justice in the civil law. It is proved that one of such criteria is the proportionality of justice, the value of which is, in the author’s opinion, in the desire to achieve the most optimal distribution of benefits taking into account the specificity of the legal situation.
