Ecological testing allows one in soil-climatic zone to compare varieties and hybrids on the main economically valuable attributes and select from them the most suitable and adapted to the conditions of southern forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia. In 2013-2015 in the experimental fields of the Siberian Research Station VNIIMK (Isilkul of Omsk Region) conducted environmental testing of spring rape, which is represented by eighteen samples of which 16 varieties: Radical, Jubilee, Rusich, Start, Kupol, Granite (FGBNU “SOS VNIIMK”), Tavrion (FGBNU VNIIMK), Podarok, SNK-42 (FGBNU SibNIIK), Reef original, Ratnik, Avangard, Forward, Ermak (FGBNU VNIIR), Khailait (Germany), Neman (Belarus) and 2 hybrid: Ozorno, Salsa (Germany). Maximum productivity in the years of research there was a German hybrid Ozorno and Siberian varieties Rusich, Kupol and Granite. Vegetation period of the studied varieties and hybrids was 92-100 days. With the vegetation period short marked varieties of granite Tavrion, Podarok, SNK-42, Khailait. Low oil content was observed in varieties Belarusii Neman, and high grades in Siberian breeding and granite dome. All varieties and hybrids, with the exception of the SNK-42 and Neman showed low levels of glucosinolates in the seeds. Erucic acid content in the oil was 0,07-0,85%. Conducting environmental spring rape variety trials showed that the soil and climatic conditions of southern forest-steppe of Western Siberia are suitable for the cultivation of this crop. On average over three years of research high yield and oil seeds showed a variety Kupol, Granite (SOS VNIIMK) and hybrid Ozorno (Germany). During 2013-2014. also varieties Rusich (SOS VNIIMK) stood out on seed yield, Tavrion (VNIIMK) and Forward (FGBNUVNIIR ).
