Lythrum salicaria L. is a perennial herbaceous plant widely used in landscape design due to its ornamental value, resilience to adverse environmental conditions, and ability to form vibrant floral compositions. In recent decades, the ornamental plant market has seen the emergence of numerous cultivars of this species, differing in inflorescence color, plant height, flowering period, and other characteristics. This article presents an analysis of the cultivar diversity of Lythrum salicaria L., including such popular cultivars as «Blush», «Little Robert», «Robert», «Robin», and «Swirl». Their morphological features, biological properties, environmental requirements, and recommendations for use in landscape architecture are examined.
