Membership and training of teachers for girls' primary education in Vologda region in the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries

The development of women's primary education in Vologda region during the period 1861 - 1917 is analysed. The article deals with the characteristics of the teachers' membership as a factor of women's effective education in the region. Comparative gender, class, qualification and age-related characteristics of the primary school teachers are given in the article.
