Soil composition of the Tovuzchay basin of Azerbaijan by ecological regions

One of the environmental problems that the relevant structures are currently closely addressing is the protection and restoration of soil fertility. In this regard, the effective and correct use of land resources in the region, as well as the protection of agricultural land, have become urgent problems. In order to organize environmental monitoring carried out on the basis of the relevant program, environmental observations of diagnostic indicators of soil fertility were carried out. Tovuzchay river basin is divided into ecological regions: watershed, transit and accumulation areas, the closedness of the territories in relation to other river basins, their separation by natural boundaries (watersheds) are factors that increase the accuracy of observations.
