The article presents the results of a study of the raw material potential for the formation of a cluster for processing waste from the forest complex of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The assessment of static indicators, which is a quantitative characteristic of forest resources: the total and operational stock of wood, available in the region. The analysis of the qualitative characteristics of the forest resource base of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is carried out: the age and species structure of forest stands, the average growth of stem wood. The marketable stock and species structure of forest stands by macro-regions and forestries of the region have been analyzed. An analysis of the use of the forest fund of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is carried out, an assessment is made of the level of use of the allowable cut for the macro-regions of the region. The amount of logging waste for all types of felling (including stem wood waste and crown waste) was determined for the macro-regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The volume indicators of sawmilling waste (including lump waste and sawdust) for the municipalities of the region have been determined. In the process of studying the state and use of the forest resource base of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, significant reserves of forest resources and secondary raw materials were revealed. Based on this, it was concluded that the region has a raw material potential for the formation and sustainable development of a cluster for processing waste from the forest complex of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
