State and features of development of the service sector in the CIS member states: statistical research

The article discusses issues related to the formation of a common space for production, consumption and exchange of services between countries that are members of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). A detailed statistical analysis of the development of the service sector in the CIS member states is given: the place of services in the formation of the GDP of each of the CIS countries, the place of services in the structure of the main types of economic activity and employment in the service sector are shown; the emphasis is on studying the structure and dynamics of household expenditures on the purchase of paid services in the overall structure of consumer expenditures.
