Status and perspectives of international collaboration of the Novosibirsk region with the neighboring foreign countries in 1996-2000

The article is devoted to analysis of a condition and prospects of the international collaboration of the Novosibirsk region with the neighboring foreign countries from 1996 till 2000.This period is characterized by economic and political crisis. The results obtained show intensification of the international collaboration of the Novosibirsk region with the countries APR and the CIS. It is stressed that political component began to appear in the international collaboration of regions of the Russian Federation and a regional component in the international collaboration and foreign policy of the states.
