The state and prospects of development of the national FMCG market

The FMCG market is one of the main segments of the economy, which has an impact on the development of other business sectors and on the level of well-being of society as a whole. The article discusses the main components of the FMCG segment. The analysis of the current state of the Russian FMCG market is carried out, the main trends in this industry and the dynamics of sales channels are analyzed. The main strategies of consumer behavior are revealed. Online trading is one of the actively developing market segments, this is determined by the growing number of online stores, as well as the development of various forms of online trading, for example, various trading applications, etc. As a result, the article assesses the state of the FMCG online market, as the fastest growing sales channel, and identifies the reasons for the indicated dynamics. Based on the analysis of statistical data on sales, as well as data on consumer behavior, the authors of the article identify key trends in the development of the domestic FMCG market and determine the prospects for its development. These prospects include an increase in demand for organic and environmentally friendly products, an increase in the share of sales via the Internet, and the development of modern forms of communication with consumers, such as social networks, instant messengers and various mobile applications.
